Lake Weekend

Last weekend we made our first trip up to the lakehouse for this season. Even though I was anticipating a frigid weekend it turned out to be beautiful. Saturday was sunny and warm and perfect for Brady to spend lots of time outside. He is obsessed with walking right now. He does not want to be held. He wants down to explore his world. He was so cute at the lake because he just walked all over the property the whole time we were there. Everyone took turns taking him outside. He wanted to walk down to the dock so bad but we wouldn't let him which he hated of course. I'm not quite ready for him to walk on the dock yet. Especially since we haven't found a life jacket that fits him yet. We are working on it though don't worry.

Brady already knows that the lakehouse is all about relaxing. He is just kicking back in a comfy chair.

Pop just wants to relax but Brady isn't having it. He wants down to explore.

I love this picture of my sweet husband and beautiful son. They are so cute together. They are definately the best of friends. Brady is sooooo attached to his Daddy and I can't blame him one bit. So am I!!!

Brady loves his Nonna. Especially since she took him on most of his walks!

My three boys. Riley loves the lakehouse too. It means lots of running room and a lake to jump into. And yes he did play in the water even though I am sure it was freezing.

We are so blessed to have this lakehouse. My grandparents bought it when my dad was young and now it belongs to my parents. We love it so much and have so many wonderful memories there. It is so precious having a child there with us to create new memories. I can't wait for this summer when he can really experience the lake.

Anything Brady could step up on became his favorite thing to do. He would go up and down over and over.
