Case of Brady Vs. Wall

So today Daddy made a surprise visit home after lunchtime just to say a quick hello to Brady before heading back to work. Brady was so happy to see his Daddy during the day. He just wanted to play with him so bad. Brady started doing ring-around-the-rosie for Daddy and got really dizzy. Unfortunately, he tumbled into the wall. Where he landed was really bad because in the dining room we have molding on the wall as you can see below and of course his forehead landed directly on the molding. He started crying immediately and wanted his Daddy. Within seconds it was swelling and purple. It eventually was the size of a golf ball. Of course Mommy freaked out and was saying things like emergency room but hey it's weird seeing a huge bump on your babies head. Thank goodness Daddy was there to calm us both down. Austin held Brady and put ice on his head while I sang every kid song I could think of so he would stay still. Not a great day for the poor little man.
The Defendant: Dining room wall. Charged with injury to a child.

The Plaintiff: My precious baby boy. The only crime he committed was loving ring-around-the-rosie too much. He didn't stand a chance.

Check out that bump. This is immediately after the incident.

This is the bump after his nap. It was very redish/purpleish. Fortunately, the swelling had gone down some. We'll see how it looks tomorrow.

Unfortunately, there are no laws against inanimate objects harming children so all charges against the wall were dropped. Brady feels there is no justice in the world. You can tell by the look on his face. Tomorrow is another day my son!

Poor Brady! I can imagine your mommy heart seeing your baby hurt. Cody sraped his chin crawling outside on the sidewalk and it bled and I was so sad for him. :( I hope I get to see you guys soon! Lets try and meet up...
