9 Weeks Old Oh My!!

I can't believe my little boy is 9 weeks old. He is growing so fast that it makes me sad. He is already 13 lbs. which is mainly because he loves to eat. Fortunately he is really long so he doesn't have fat rolls or anything...yet!! He does however have my chubby cheeks. His hair is incredibly blonde and his eyes are this amazing dark blue. He is definately a pretty boy. He is finally sleeping in his room upstairs and is doing great. He only eats once during the night and it is just a snack feeding of 2 oz. He takes four bottles a day exactly four hours apart. His little body is really on a schedule. He will start fussing right on the dot. It's so amazing. He sleeps great at night but doesn't like to sleep much during the day. He takes random cat naps but that is about it.

I fall more and more in love with this little guy everyday. It is so true that you really don't understand your own capacity for love until you have a child. I also didn't know how much more I would fall in love with Austin after seeing how wonderful of a father he is. We are so blessed to have such a healthy and sweet little boy. Praise God!

Brady loves to move his arms around all the time. I rarely get a picture of him without his arms in the air. He always looks like he is dancing. I love to play music because he gets really excited and starts moving around a bunch. We had to keep swaddling him until just this past week when he slept because he would bang himself in the face and wake himself up. Apparently he is doing better about that because we stopped swaddling him this week.

Here is Brady on his play mat. He had pretty much had enough at this point so that is why he is giving me that look. He will only take the play mat, the swing, or the bouncy seat for about 20 minutes before he fusses and wants me to move him around. He is a very active boy so I have a feeling that when he starts crawling he will be all over the place.

Here is me and my baby boy on Valentine's Day. He went and stayed with his Pop and Nonna while Austin and I went to dinner. We didn't stay gone long because I missed him too much. I am getting better about that. He is growing way too fast. I can't believe how much bigger he is now than even this picture a month ago.

He is so adorable, and seriously growing fast. Brooks was 13 lbs at his 6 month check-up (he's just a little guy). I used to think those old ladies at church were so silly when they'd say, "They just grow up so fast!" Now I know how true it is. I hope I get down to see y'all soon before Brady is too big!
