I can't believe my baby boy is turning 1 year old in less than two weeks. This past year has been the craziest, hardest, and most precious year of my life. It really does fly by. Brady is maturing more and more everyday and he trully amazes me with all the new things he is learning. Last week Brady decided to start walking on his own. He has been cruising for over a month now and has been crawling like crazy since before Thanksgiving, but last week he just decided to let go and take off. We are so proud of him. I was jokingly telling him that he needed to walk before his 1st birthday because all the other babies from our Sunday School class had walked by their 1st birthday. I guess he saw it as a challenge because he started walking that week. He is so cute when he walks because he holds his arms out in front of him like Frankenstein and waddles a bit like he is pregnant. He gets this huge smile on his face when he is walking towards you like he is accomplishing something so big. And he is!!! He is pointing now at everything with his cute little chubby finger. He points at things he likes, food he wants, or just people. He always points at these Santa figurines on our kitchen table so Austin taught him to say Ho Ho Ho and it is adorable. He is going to be really sad when I take down the Santas tomorrow. He can also say Thank You, Bubba (which is what I call him alot), and hi. These are his newest words. Of course they sound a little funny but we know what he means. He still says Da Da ALL the time, ALL day long. On Saturday he said Ma Ma all day so that made me feel good. He also says Nonna which is my mom's grandma name. Those are the only words we have made out so far. He is really trying to have conversations though which is really fun. I really feel like we are communicating sometimes. I just love this age so much because we just play, play, play and have so much fun all day long. It's fun just to sit back and watch his brain work. He goes to the doctor for his one year checkup next Friday so I will have stats then.
