RSV and Birthday Party

So...to continue the story from the previous blog, the next morning, Friday, Brady had his one year checkup. This worked out well because he could see his regular doctor and he was feeling even worse. She ended up checking him for RSV and he tested positive. Why the doctor didn't do this the day before I don't know. Anyways, she said there is nothing to give him but we just have to wait it out. We have to watch his breathing really close. Because Brady was diagnosed with RSV we had to call all of his little friends and tell them not to come to his party. He was very contagious and we didn't want any of them to get sick. So we ended up having just a family party for him. He did great even though he was sick. I think he still had a great time.

He loved putting his hands in the cake. He just dove right in with no hesitation.

Brady with his Pop and Nonna. As you can tell he doesn't like to be held anymore because he wants to walk around everywhere. He wants total freedom.

Brady with his Oma and Opa (Austin's Dad and Stepmom).

Brady with his Aunt Rachel, Mimi, and Uncle Travis (Austin's sister, Mom, and brother).

Our little family.

Sorry the little guy felt bad, but I'm glad he got to have some cake. Can you even believe that he's one? Time flies!
