Snow Snow and More Snow

So we loved the snow and we hated the snow. Thursday was a beautiful day of snow and we loved watching it pile up. However, that night our power went out at 9:30pm and didn't come back on until Sunday night. We stayed at home that first night because Brady was already asleep in his bed. He slept great that night almost 13 hours. He loves sleeping in the cold. The next morning we packed up and headed to my parents house for the next fews days. But let me tell you the funnest part of the whole story (note the sarcasm please). Friday morning when we were heading out I held the garage door open while Austin backed out of the garage. Since the power was out the garage door didn't work obviously. Well, being the total girl that I am I didn't think letting go of the door and letting it slam shut by itself would be a problem. It was! When the door slammed shut it locked. We do not have a key to the garage door and our only key to our house (don't ask me why we only have 1 key) was on my key chain in my car inside the garage. So we had no way of getting into our house until the power came back on. This wouldn't have been too much of a problem except we were going to the NBA Allstar game on Sunday night and our tickets were in the house. So Saturday night rolled around and still no power so we had to call a locksmith to come and get us into our own house. Embarassing! And costly!! So basicly we got some great pictures and have some funny memories but we also learned a great lesson. Make more copies of your house key and pass it out to family and friends.
Brady was crying the whole time we were playing in the snow because he was not feeling well that day.

We went to the football field behind our neighborhood and it was beautiful.

My three boys.

I love seeing my house covered in snow. Our entire neighborhood was so beautiful. Noone drives down our street so it stayed covered in snow forever.

Our Valentines Day was spent at my parents house. Here is my sweet little Valentine.

There isn't too much stuff to play with at Pop and Nonna's but Brady doesn't care. He will get into anything.

He'll climb on chairs...

Play with tupperware...

Even a wooden spoon can be fun when you bang it against a dryer.

More beautiful snow pictures.

I still can't believe that I'm looking at these pictures of TEXAS when they look just like pictures taken in Colorado. CRAZY weather. And WOW Brady is getting big. Hope we can get the boys together soon.
