This past weekend at the lakehouse was fabulous. We got there Thursday around dinner time and stayed through Monday after lunch. It felt like a real vacation. Something I haven't had in a LONG time. Plus, Brady is at the age now where he loves it there. He loves being able to play on the huge lawn and after this weekend I think he will always love the water. He got in the lake for the first time. So excited! We tried putting him in last summer but he screamed so much about having the life jacket on that he was never able to get in. He had so much fun though. Once he got used to the water he was even splashing his daddy. It was so cute to watch. After that he took his first boat ride. He didn't really know what to think about it but he never fussed. He just sat in dad's lap and chilled. As always we had a blast being with family and letting Brady entertain us. We can't wait to go back on July 4th!!!

Floats don't work with a life jacket....just FYI! However, children canNOT be in a lake without a life jacket so we brought the float home. We can always use it in a pool somewhere.

We went to the lake this weekend too and it was such a good vacation!!! Parker loved being outside and on the boat! I wasn't brave enough to put him in the water just yet.
So fun! I have such fond memories of going to the lakehouse with you! :)

Looks like you guys had a blast! Everytime I hear you talk about your lakehouse it always reminds me of when we all went in high school and got in big trouble because we played truth or dare. Still cracks me up. :)
